ok, i didnt see bashing, i probably missed it, i did see a lot of reasoned questions.
i have never viewed PR's as a business strategy. it seems like that is the single most dominant component discussed here. great PR's are coming. my philosophy is that money is a scarce commodity particularly in this day and age.
the strategy i apply is that the more you know, the more you know. my tactic to support that strategy is first; verify as much as possible the things that the people who are trying to separate you from your money are telling you and understand how those things will move the business forward. when the business advances the share price will follow, secondly figure out what they have not told you. third find out why and what those answers are. next understand the fundementals in the business, what is the status of those, how are they being managed and what quatifiable progress has been made over what time on those elements. lastly and probablythe single most important, what is the plan. not an ethereal, mystic, vaporous babblespeak, but a solid detailed and documented plan to attack and achieve the business objectives. please understand i am stating my philosophy and not saying those elements are not here. they may well be. i never understood why some blame the reporter who asks the politician if he stole the money.
apparently you all have your own battles, which is really baffling to an outsider. You should be allies and a cohesive group that seeeks and shares actionable data thenact accordingly on an individual basis. just saying. best of luck to all of you.
