by siphoning money outside of the US SPNG probably did more to hurt this economy than help.
As well it does immense damage to the capital markets taking money away from legitimate ventures and discourages people from further participation in the market.
The cost for the government to enforce the laws is massive as well. Which all you USAians have to pay for out of your taxes. Between all the time spent by regulatory personal, judges, lawyers, investigators, accountants it surely reaches into the millions of dollars to take this to the end.
Anyone going "save SPNG because it is good for America" is a driveling moron who has no idea what they are talking about.
