Just imagine... half the posts here over the past 24 hours would have been unnecessary... and we could have all discussed the benefits of the news rather than the material that the insert is made of...

Like Lowe's would buy 20,000 inserts that they would have to replace quickly because of lack of durability. They are wood.

I don't really care what they are made of but that is one really funny statement right there. If you take a piece of plastic and a piece of wood and put them in a landfill which is going to decompose first? Come back a hundred years later and the wood will be dust and the plastic will be still plastic. It is not like these inserts get a ton of abuse to test their durability when they are sitting in the store.
