I think everyone is missing the point that it is in the entire PC industries advantage to sell the US Government on the use of TPM's. It would require the replacement of every secure PC the Government owns, plus the venders that communicate with them. What better incentive can the industry have to support Wave? The Government always supports and pays for the development of cutting edge technology.....CL

"...From the P.R. I read, this ORC to me does not appear to really offer anything that Wave doesn;t already have as it relates to Attestation and PKI and Trust in the identification areas that are addressed..."

PKI is based on certificates! A certificate is the carrier of trust and identity.

Micro59,

I think SKS's comment summarizes the value of the relationship: "We believe ORC can play an important role as a Trusted Third Party serving the growing trusted computing market in government."

I'm not claiming that this is better than sliced bread. I just find it curious that Wavoids might judge a deal based on the level of the other company's stock price! You suppose the folks at WPDT are dancing on the tables today because they snagged a deal with that big gorrila at $1.20?

Man, when did we do that Wavoid NCAA hoops contest? We definitely need to run it again. I'm liking Eddie Sutton's Cowboys right now...

Regards,

Micro;

It looks like WIDEPOINT CORP understands what we have been about all these years, to buy ORC....don't you think?

Fortunately, they seem to have a close position with the Gov't.
