Galarraga was a class act tonight.

I was reading posts on the Detroit Tiger's website where they were talking about reversing joyce's call. I doubt that will happen and if it did, it would not seem like a legitimate perfect game as it was already ruined by all the damn hype.

I was watching the game and I could not believe how blind that UMP was, even the batter himself knew he was out. The Cleveland players on the team even knew it by their expressions(you would have had to see the game for that). Joyce was what, about 15 feet from first base and couldn't get this call right?? Unbelievable.

One pee'd off Tiger Fan.

Here is one i found on youtube of it...

I still can't believe how well he handled himself. I give the guy a lot of credit and I have full respect for him. Some players in baseball would have had to have been restrained.

All true; however, what actually happened isn’t that bad an objective outcome for Galaraga.

Had the perfect game stood, Galaraga would’ve been one of 20 players to accomplish the feat and, in all likelihood, he would have remained a no-name pitcher with middling career stats. Thanks to the botched call, Galaraga will be eternally famous.
