Steiner, I like your last paragraph. I agree with what you say there. Maybe Makmann has been looking for a buyer for his publicly traded company, one that will be successful. And he finds it advantageous to do a RM in this way. If so, his success will not hurt us shareholders, only help IMO.

What I like about Makmann, despite all the questions about his sense of direction, is the guy doesn't give up. He gets knocked down, but picks himself up by his bootstraps and forges on. People like that eventually make something happen for themselves. We're all just hoping to profit from the star dust that follows.

I don't, either. Gut says it's like buying a piece of the action and selling it for profit. If pans out, the stock goes up and if it doesn't, the deal goes flat.
