I must admit I have never heard that investing was a game. To elaborate further on your reply revenue is guaranteed, gain or loss. Rumors,yes, are also guaranteed. Rumors are what convinced many to sell POSC. News is greatly a gurantee, bad or good, false or true. The question is this: If one trades with the last 2 mentioned what does that prosper one. It tells me that one who trade like this has a lucky chance at winning and a good chance at loosing. If charts mean very little, then at what point do you know your support levels, levels of resistence, buying points,ect.
Unless you trade from a website who offers these then you do not know at what time a stock is ready to be bought, ready to be sold or ready at all. Charts combined with detailed research is valuble. Show me a person who does use charts and will show you a person who loses 90%, breaks even 5% and gains 5%.

In the end anyone can invest how they want, when they want. But the gurantee here is that everyone looks at the charts, EVERYONE. Even you sir, whether you'll admit it here or not,looks at charts to help see where the stock was doing yesterday or last year. Yes, charts mean everything.
