By "point of use" are you saying that the tankless water heater is specific to a particular device such as a shower or a bathtub or maybe even a single bathroom?
If so, can you confirm that what you are saying is that tankless water heaters (gas or electric) are point of use based on my first sentence here.
Sorry bplmer4u, I just ready your post and I wanted to mention that there are a lot of differnet sizes and applications that will be avaliable. Heres a clip right of their website:
