If we only had longs here, nobody would make any money.
Who wants to buy a stock that you can't sell?
How can you buy a stock nobody is selling?
When longs hoard the stock, the shorts come out and then manipulate the stock price down to close their position.
Longs can't help because they are already fully invested.
Traders add liquidity, the buy they sell sometimes at a profit and other times not. But they take their turn and let the next trader take a shot at making bank.
I just have to say when you go over and look at NASDAQ stock, they have volume and less volatile pricing.
