Jake,

ur observation is correct...MCO > or < 0 is a criterion for a trend change. Above is buy on dips and below is sell on rallies.

think of it this way, with all the bad economic news last week, the market would have sold off many times already. But because the fundamentals...AD issues are leaning positive that was why the market was able to sustain and chances are that if it does not go down then it will go up...market does not stay put very long...

Now unless Greece goes bankrupt then it negates all technicals.
Chile just had an 8.8 earthquake that interrupted the biggest copper producer in the world...with copper prices higher and perhaps commodities following suit that may fuel the market...will see
