Went to Borders tonight

had to buy an excel 2007 and quickbooks for dummies

(I think I have a "for dummies" book for every subject)

and I was asked by the cashier to donate a bag of coffee for the soldiers in Afghanistan. Of course I'm a sap when it comes to donating so I did.

but I thought it was odd that they'd want to send "coffee" rather than food or water or something else.

I mean do we really need over caffeinated soldiers over there?
