I disagree with you on stating we Christians are MISSING anything about Jesus.

Why is it I feel you have this long running bitterness to wards the church?
I have no bitterness with the church. I have a sadness that the church does not recognize the brutal history of the church and because of that lack of recognition, continues to repeat the mistakes of the past.
