Heres the thing...point blank. The majority of "christians"....past...present...and future,(if there is a future), The majority of "christians" are going to hell!
Why is that? Because the the majority of "christians" think and talk and believe...right in line with most everything that you have been saying here on the board. Sorry masko...but that is the truth..the way it is...the way it has always been...and the way it will always be.
Yes..God did use man to hear from HIM and write the 66 books of the Bible...and during the 1500 year period that all those words were given from God to man. God made it quite clear what HE intended to be put into print...Im thinking in those days those men with their love and fear of God....knew very well to write each word as God directed them...OR...maybe wake up in hell wishing they had... The men of that day knew very well that God...and only God was their creator..and they had no problem in doing as he said. They knew very well the wrath of God...they had seen it 1st hand as is written in the Old Testiment from the destructions of vast armies by just a few men...to plagues and such. Unlike men today...the men of that time knew very well that God just might send a lightning bolt and fry their hind end if they didnt heed and listen to his commands. OR...maybe just something simple like the whole world being flooded or wandering around in the wilderness for 40 years. God didnt play around back in those days if you remember!
Then in 1604 when the church of England had 47 of their scholars, all of whom were members of the Church of England...translate from Hebrew...Latan...and Greek...the " King James Version". Now here is where so many unbelievers want to get on their high horse and say...man translated the Bible and this was done...and this wasnt done...and this and that was left out and thrown away and forgotten. And to that i say..."Hog Wash"!
That same God of the Old Testiment...that same God of the New Testiment...that same one and only God that has been around FOREVER....that gave the word to the prophets and the Deciples...and told them to write it as it was written in the Hebrew...Greek...and Latin. That same God was there in those 47 scholars lives and minds and im thinking if any of those 47 scholars would have taken it upon themselves to change wording to suit themselves...or to get a notion to add words to fit their agenda....im thinking suddenly that same God of love and wrath would have seen to it that suddenly there would have been just 46 scholars...and if they didnt get the message ...the remaining 46...there would have been 45. And the reason most likely would not have been because they got fired...but most likely by that same blinding light that struck Saul down on the Road to Damascus! Contrary to what MOST folks seem to think...GOD has a way of getting peoples...or puny humans...attention and keeping their attention when he has a mind to!
So all the other men that walked the earth and played savior...or whatever you want to label buddha and muhammad and the likes....all false prophets serving a false god!
A person can take any book on planet earth and cast their little fantasy spell on it and call it a faith..or religion...or cult...and its all just make believe and every single one of them...are hell bound! A person can take the so called books of Judah...Timothy....Ralph....or Homer..or Charles Manson or Jim Jones....and call them whatever they please....but if a person is putting their belief...their faith in ANYTHING other than GOD...the great "I AM"...in JESUS...and the HOLY SPIRIT...the Trinty....EVERY one of those people...so called "christians or Athiests or unbelievers or whatever...they are ALL going to hell on judgment day...thats it....there is NO compromise!
A person takes the Bible as the only word of God...you take God as the only god...Jesus as his Son and the Holy Spirit as the 3rd person of the Trinity...and we believe in that whole hearted by and thru our faith. You throw all the rest of the garbage in the form of books and gods and false prophets most of the satan loving TV preachers in the trash ...or its hell for all eternity! Pretty straight forward and as simple as that.
EVERYONE has a choice.....believe as it is written from Genesis to Revelations...or go to hell!....Worship God as our maker / creator...or go to hell!. Serve and follow Jesus as Lord and Savior...or go to hell!. Thru faith believe the Holy Bible as the one and only spoken word of God...or go to hell !. There is no grey area..there is no pick and choose...there is no twisting scripture or adding to or taking away from....Its the narrow road and gate to heaven...OR...the broad road and gate to hell! And as i said in a post before...dont be blaiming God for sending anyone to hell. We all have our entire life to figure it out and follow Jesus...OR...live our wicked lives and go to hell!
ANYONE can set and chew the fat as the day is long...that person can bring every man made piece of fantasy written about reincarnation or purgatory....Zodiac / horoscopes and how God wants everyone to prosper and how a loving God couldnt send folks to a place called hell. And throw all the gibberish of allah, krishna, durga, Amon, buddha, mohammed, the wicked witch of the west....and they are all going to hell!
So its really all pretty simple. Follow Jesus and go to heaven....OR...follow all the rest and go to hell.
Everyday on planet earth there is 150,000 people that die...EVERY DAY. Many of them claim to be "christian"...BUT GUESS WHAT...they are on their way to hell because they served Jesus in their own way...Not in the way that Jesus commanded. We keep our mind in and on the Holy Bible and live and walk by it...or guess what?
