As much as I respect all your research and insight on this stock, and I really mean that. I would not like to see our expectations exceed what management has told us so far. I agree with DD on this one.

mschere, the reason why I want people to set their sites lower is to net set yourself and others up for false expectations. We hit the high end of management's forecast last quarter only to lose a few points due to the fact that we missed analyst and others expectations. I don't want to see that happen again.

I have no doubt that the paid analysts read this board. I don't know if their opinions are influenced by the board or not but I just wish people would wait and see what unfolds. We would all be better off to not set unrealistic expecations.

Is it unrealistic to expect IDCC to easily beat the numbers that you have suggested NEXT year, no doubt. But this year we don't have enough information to make fully informed decisions and I don't want to see the stock price tanking again because IDCC hit the numbers that they said they would but miss the analysts numbers. Obviously you can post anything you want. Have a good day.
