Zeev, I noticed that you always keep a portion of your portfolio in stocks. Have you kept a portion of your portfolio in stocks from the top(i.e nasdaq 5000) to this point? if so, what percent? How much percentage wise are you up or down since nasdaq 5000? thank you

Zeev,
I know you can only follow just so many companies but one I like Fundamentally is ARMHY. Their chip designs are in all kinds of things from phones to cars. Royalties should continue to come in and no debt. IMHO it could be at least a double in the next six months.

Zeev, *A mideast dream i just had--its like a Bob Dylan dream, it just flows.......
Seems this week iraq is off the table because bush cant get enough public support. I thought it noteworthy that King Husseins brother attended the anti-saddam convention in london. Iraq used to be a Hashemite kingdom like Jordan before the king was overthrown in the 50s. Perhaps King Husseins brother, who was supposed to be King of Jordan until King Hussein changed the order of succession to his son Abdullah, wants to be King or Iraq. Another MAS(moderate arab state) in the making??? A Jordan/Iraq combined/confederated kingdom would add a powerful moderate force in the area and perhaps neutralize the saudis. If you add iraq oil to soviet oil and the saudis may lose any pricing power. Perhaps ultimatley it is the Saudis we will want to overthrow? Plenty of american trained folks there who might actually like the USA. And perhaps the US would only have to give logistical support? But it would never work would it?? mike

Zeev: I don't see the market sustaining a worthwhile uptrend with the dollar bleed being what it is. I believe foreign investment in US assets is still at historic highs, but that trend seems to be reversing. This is foreign flight too. With the market's and US$ in a downtrend, Easy Al's hands seem to be tied. Mainstreet is disgusted with Wallstreet so who buys the pump effort?

A sustained rally requires the flow of new money and I don't know where that money will come from, unless Easy Al just keeps printing....But that appears to have become counterproductive.

An oldie, but still an appropriate analysis.
