Safeguard is not the only one that failed with this technology. Companies with alot more funding than Safeguard failed because the market simply will not buy the device. See also NeedleZapper and public company EMDF. There is also a big problem in the failure rate of the device to destroy the needle and it then still has to be put in a Sharps container.
This failed product will just increase ASFX huge losses.
