In my calculations I assumed the depth and volume of the trenches were uniform. No information was provided to accurately give a volume estimate of the mineralization zone. Assuming scientific geological sampling was employed led me to believe that uniform trench volume was a good assumption.
I do not know the average depth of the trenches.
I agree that non-uniform trenching would skew the accuracy of my calculation.
It would take a good 3-d model to adequately assess the drilling information when it is available. Personally, right now, I do not have the time to adequately do a 3-d analysis when the data is available.
My lack of geological knowledge prevents me from commenting on how the Vanadium has been deposited.
When I was interviewing with an oil company they had some impressive 3-d modeling of geological features. I would need a good 3-d representation to adequately discuss the geology. However, a trained geologist does not need this type of visualization to understand the geological structures, but it sure helps in conveying the information to a mere layman.
