as far as trades go, i see around 32 million sells & around 21 million buys for today, yet we are still up nearly seven percent. if this is true, doesn't this go against everything supply and demand dictates. I swear the market movers are hiding/altering the buy/sell numbers.

While it is true that every transaction in SPNG has a buyer and a seller, many people forget to note that the MM is one side of the transaction.

If I sell 100 shares, the MM buys those shares.

If I buy 100 shares, the MM sells the shares to me.

Add up the number of buys for the day, and the number of sells for the day. Then compare those two sums. The difference is how the MMs' inventory of SPNG shares has changed for that day.

¶ Its both. There is both a buyer and a seller. In the list, Buys are transactions that happen closer to the ask price than to the bid price. Transactions that happen closer to the bid price are considered sell. Truth is, every transaction is both a buy and a sell of equal number of shares.
