That's probably true. It doesn't matter now.

I think it's clear that someone is making the company file all contractual obligations and rights renegotiations to set in stone what it is they are actually buying.

The only thing left is proven to set a price. The Sedco 702 is drilling Bomu in block 2. The Deepwater Pathfinder is drilling Kina and Kina South in Block 4, then moving to block 3 to drill Lemba.

The $64,000 question is; how many wells will Sinopec drill with the Sedco 702? That rig may have dynamic positioning now, but it's no drillship. IMO, they didn't pay mob/demod costs to tow it into the JDZ for 1 well.

I wonder if Sinopec documents rig contracts in their SEC filings.
