If you understood T/A it's not "voodoo" it shows buying and selling pressure by bulls and bears at certain points. Why would certain supports hold and resistances prevent the buyers from progressing? Far from "voodoo" as you like to call it. Fancy patterns aren't needed when using technical analysis, just trendlines and a good knowledge of candlesticks. Again check my early posts on SRSR, I called this large run simply from a strong breakout on the weekly chart. Play of 2009, .02-.12 in a liquid stock is about all you can ask for. I don't need to bank on news or rely on non trustworthy CEOs for their word, the chart tells all hehe.
