The judge dismissed the case, and let it move to Bermuda. The Bermuda judge merely appointed the liquidators, and trusted them to do the Bermuda job. From an insurance standpoint, they have done well. From a corporate standpoint, they have done better than many. Completion should occur very soon, but may extend into 2010. The tails are all wrapped up, and very few claims remain against the Trenwick, La Salle portion of reserves. Those reserves should be segregated in the Canopius books by the end of this year, and title or equity portion should be distributed to La Salle, et al.
