IMO: I think the first statement in your post says it all. You have answered your entire group of questions.

If you don't understand that, and you are that nervous, and impatient, maybe you should consider getting into a stock you think doesn't have any reasons for keeping the information, that you seem to think it would be OK to release, instead of CMKX.

In other words, IMO: they are doing what Mr. Glenn tells them they should do, in order to obtain their goals!

Question: Would you rather do what is right for the Company, and its Stockholders, or doom both to failure, because some people "Assume" that it's OK to release certain information?

They don't report that type of info simply because they don't have to as a pinkie. Keeping it secret actually helps generate more interest by getting the public to chat away about them.
