Most R/S kill a company's stock BUT given the historic strength and probable comeback of this company, and one has to also take into account the split of Citi (there are placards already in place at Citigroup banks in NYC: Citi Morgan Stanley is it, that once the dumpage occurs, yes we'll be down in the dumps for a bit. But the buying frenzy that will occur and and the part of Citi that are healthy still and left to thrive will kill the shorters. There's a lot of psychological crappola being played out here.
That's MHO. I think that Citi is one of the few companies that can weather an r/s well; and kill shorty too. GLTUA
