Floating Storage and Regasification.

Golar has also proposed to have Floating storage, re-gasification and power generating units.

Floating Power Generation Plants (FPGP).

Four of Golar's present ships have ~5-6 years left of service (a 40 year life-expectancy assumed) and these units will most likely be re-engineered for the FSRU units.
