For some, the fantasy may have included the sound of 'We are the champions, my friends....'
The bitter reality, though, stings more like 'Another one bites the dust, another one bites the dust...and another one down and another one down...'
Change is here, change is coming, and 'what direction' is the question mark for which no one knows the eventual outcome. If someone within Cortex does feel outwardly confident about the future of, or direction of their company, they are not conveying that message to the public convincingly--certainly not through a loaded PR video. I guess it's better than nothing. In addition, few key employees have terminated in recent years, which can be construed as good. On the other hand, the Insider Ownership is ridiculously low, yet they have plenty of options--which aligns their interests with ours, and....Jesue, where does it end? :)
BTW-How much do you think that video set back Cortex, to produce and distribute, along with the news release?
I don't blame you at all Chet, but I haven't yet given up on the science and potential, as self-defeatingly slow as it has been.
Congratulations on your modest profit. You took the risk and outsmarted Cortex in your 'sharespan.' Good luck, and consider looking more into diversity, instead of throwing it all into the alternative energy sector, or one sector in general, like biospec.
