Chet .. I sure hope it doesn't take 12 years for me to get out of COR and make a tiny profit ;)
I envy you for being able to unshakle yourself from this situation..
Good luck in new investments!
Cheers..

ChetP1 - I've been in almost 13 years, and all I seem to be able to do is buy more. I've bought as low as 40 cents and as high as $4 and change. At some point I thought $100 was possible. There is an end to my patience, Some days, I still think $10 is possible, other days I'm not so sure that I'll even see the $1.35 I need to break even.

For some, the fantasy may have included the sound of 'We are the champions, my friends....'

The bitter reality, though, stings more like 'Another one bites the dust, another one bites the dust...and another one down and another one down...'

Change is here, change is coming, and 'what direction' is the question mark for which no one knows the eventual outcome. If someone within Cortex does feel outwardly confident about the future of, or direction of their company, they are not conveying that message to the public convincingly--certainly not through a loaded PR video. I guess it's better than nothing. In addition, few key employees have terminated in recent years, which can be construed as good. On the other hand, the Insider Ownership is ridiculously low, yet they have plenty of options--which aligns their interests with ours, and....Jesue, where does it end? :)

BTW-How much do you think that video set back Cortex, to produce and distribute, along with the news release?

I don't blame you at all Chet, but I haven't yet given up on the science and potential, as self-defeatingly slow as it has been.

Congratulations on your modest profit. You took the risk and outsmarted Cortex in your 'sharespan.' Good luck, and consider looking more into diversity, instead of throwing it all into the alternative energy sector, or one sector in general, like biospec.

Good luck but careful. Luckily I have only been invested in cortex for just over 3 years and unfortunately believe in the potential and the pharmacology behind ampakines and hope that Cortex has been and will be utilizing there cash flow appropriately and developing promising products to where they can actually come to market.

Careful with the alternative energy, that is another sector I have enjoyed researching but is in many ways seems more risk>reward than biotech.

It kinda reminds me of gfp almost exactly four years ago. He sold all his shares right before the ADHD results came out. He did that for various reason. Then a week or two later the results for the ADHD came in positive. Cortex when up to almost $6 per share.

I hope you sale will trigger the same results. Positive news within one to two weeks. Anyways, I wish you the best of luck!
