Red the same thing happened with GeneMax.
With Ameritrade. And yes there WAS a big short position. And yes it WAS true. And yes the price went from $3 to $20. And yes there is still a short position in it. And yes there are court cases still going on. The current price is $1.

Well pretty strange twists as Ameritrade won't allow buying of cmkx shares.For what reasons,no clue.Cmkx is a live one everywhere and I have never seen this in all my history of playing these penny stocks...

IF this rumor is true--and we won't know till Tuesday--it's far from unheard of. For reasons that no one's ever really got to the bottom of, Ameritrade and a number of other brokers sometimes decide they won't buy an issue for their clients, though they will sell.

The stocks that get this treatment are invariably the most, ah, controversial penny issues. I think they just don't want clients suing them if something goes wrong.
