Taking a statement as truth from any ceo of gtel is a risky proposition. I can guarantee in no uncertain terms that this company has no direct relationship with Globalstar (leinwand's inference aside).

The inference works like this (a)=gtel, (b)=GTC, (c)=Globalstar:

(b) has a relationship with (c). (a) has a relationship with (b). therefore (a) has a relationship with (c).

A subtle pump, but a pump nonetheless.
