That does seem to be the case, IMO. The company is pretty late, it seems, with a lot of validation and verification which it has been promising for a long time... and since the OS report seems to bother people (and also bothers the company?), then it may be serving as even MORE reason for the company to provide the verification that its shareholders know and agree is long overdue.
But then, instead... they retract the US auditor announcement right after the OS report stated that Yu had denied being secured by BZTG. I'm pretty sure that's not the only action shareholders expected as a result of the OS report so far. Or rather, it's the opposite of what most hoped to finally see. Instead of verification, we got retraction of one item in the report.
