Actually, if you go to opensecrets.org which tracks political
contributions thru FEC filing, you will find that fannie mae
is not even in the top 20 of contributors to obama:

There is a reason for that. If you go to search donor and type in
Obama and fannie mae you will find there is a grand total of 80,000
dollars contributed to Obama and 6,000 to McCain. Net 74,000.
