Horsefuck. I'll go with option B -- bullshit campaign promises aren't binding. Entire tax plans for the next 4 years aren't beautifully laid out for you on a campaign trail then he just sits back and relaxes for 4 years.

Suddenly "things will change" -- and there goes your tax increase.

And, yes, I want corporate welfare because corporations are what hire people and determine how much I pay for things. Basic economics 101 will tell you that taxes on businesses is a tax on consumers. Ultimately, the consumer pays a portion of a corporations taxes through higher prices.

The reality is, 99.9% of us haven't read Obama's tax plan which includes me and probably you. I have no idea if he's going to tax nobody or tax everybody, and I suspect neither do you. We can only chose to blindly believe one person over another. And even if we did read the mega-page document, who knows if we'll understand it correctly or not.

And most importantly -- which is what everybody keeps missing is the most important point -- a campaign promise document isn't worth shit. It has no legal binding any more than Bush Sr.'s "Read my lips -- no new taxes" bullshit had just before he raised taxes after promising never to.

It's all horseshit. So you have to figure out for yourself -- does a far right liberal promising everything under the sun for everybody who wants to spend spend spend spend spend mean more taxes or less taxes? I think it's obvious, and I think it's obvious 1% of the people ain't gonna be just paying for it.

Not that it matters....Obama ain't gonna be in the white house any more than FRE is going to be worth zero. :)
