I'm also quite sure that ONEV is already connected to a network of relevant professionals in the field.

Jobs are not advertised in the traditional or even electronic media the way they used to be, for many fields.

If prospective employees have word of the growth anticipated, the private investors coming on, the jobs will be gone by word-of-mouth before we even know about it.

I work in a very different but also highly specialized field. We all know each other, across the continent and sometimes beyond. We know the old-time pioneers, we know the up-and-coming whiz-kids.

ONEV is now well-connected and should have no trouble finding skilled recruits.

Perhaps to put the ads where they would be visible? It just plays into the legitimacy of 'looking for hiring new personnel'. How about personnel listings at the Expo's... I go to Expo's in my field and job recruiting is a big part of the Expo...especially since the potential employers are there already and they don't have to spend money to bring you in for an interview...you are already there. You would have to 'know of ONEV' in order to look up jobs listed on their web site. How much is the cost of an ad, one day's lunch money for Deano?

The SAN DIEGO job market is hot with high tech jobs and job seekers, not unlike Silicon Valley days new and old. Why would ONEV spend extra $ to advertise more widely at this point in time?
