"Intel researchers demonstrated a speech interface controlling the task of creating connections between two mobile devices and a wireless display with the goal of sharing resources and services. For example, consumers can speak commands in a natural manner to synch their mobile device with a large screen television to share recent photos of their children with grandparents."
Nice find Dave..Here are some pictures from the show..The first link is to the main page..If you scroll down you will see the demo pictures..The second Link is the blown up picture of the speech demo..As you scroll through it you will see it discusses Natural Language Voice recognition..They are using a very ugly..IMO..Sony Mid with and external Mic..I noticed by looking at the main screen that Intel is calling this the DCC project..
This sure sounds like Onev's tech..Certainly the last sentence is exactly what Onev's tech features..Thanks again...veno
"Speech Interface for Creating Device Connections: Speech interfaces are particularly suitable for small mobile devices because of the limitation of the physical input and output channels. In this demo, we show how speech can be used to create connections between two UMPCs and a wireless display. This module learns from prior language examples and doesn’t require the users to learn a specific grammar."
