People have short term memories. This same thing happen to us around 1978-79. People back then traded their cars and trucks for the little known cars called Datsun, (now nissan) just to want to trade back out of them a year later. We are Americans with a thirst for bigger and better. Fuel cannot sustained the pace because of the long term effects it will have on the oil producing nations. I am a used car salesmen in Tampa, Fl. I don't have a bunch of disposable income to waste like some people that I know. I have a XLR in the garage and drive my Navigator or my Mountaineer every day and my XLR gets better fuel mileage then my other two. I have just learned not to drive as much until the dust settles and it must! If this stays the way it is then it will crash the world's economy so we know it will correct it self. It is kinda like giving away a stock you believe in just because of a dip.

That is very true. There are people who live in a world with more 0's. What i mean is take a person's income and add a 0 to the end. Ave Joe making 50k a year is now 500K . In his world gas is now like .40 a gallon instead of $4 When you make a lot of money the price of gas or cars doen't matter as much. For most of us it hurts.
