Thanks, looks like corn requires the most fertilizer and soybeans the least. But, corn prices have been rallying hard recently and with the much higher yields per acre (versus soybeans), corn looks like it will provide the farmer with by far the best returns. Fertilizer costs are estimated to be about 10 % of crop value, so if fertilizer prices double from here that could be somewhat detrimental.

Does corn require potash fertilizers in particular.

Do you add organic matter to your crops, or depend solely on a chemical fertilizer process?
