HailMary, AMD could be demand constrained until then, but that would help ASPs.

I think you meant to say "supply-constrained," since that's the desirable situation that leads to higher ASP.

We understood what you really meant by the "demand constrained" comment, Hailmary.

AMD just has to be very careful with the product mix and pricing over the next year or so. I think they will have no problem selling everything they can make and contract over the next 12 months.

The good news is that AMD is valued at only 34 times a very conservative profit estimate for 2005 and 57 times a very conservative profit estimate for this year. When the picture begins to become clear (for those having the poorest of eyesight and foresight), this thing is going to hurt some of those who are on the "short end of the stick".
