Over 100 years ago 36 bonanzas were discovered at the Comstock. It is estimated that only 15 percent of the gold was recovered. It seems likely that there will be more bonanzas to come--especially using modern drill and detection methods.

OK, the word BONANZA bothered me when I first saw it. What do it mean? A whole lot? Or is there a specific quantifiable meaning? My guess is that he meant - A whole lot of gold. Non-specific words bother me because they tend to hook my emotions and not me intelligence.
