Seems your birdie chirped a story that correlates well with the co's moves over the last 8 months or so. (thank you for posting).

With the recent co filing showing the attorney fee's have dwindled significantly as of recent.....and the Nigeria oil and gas celebration over, we will creep up rather quickly on the "March 14'th shareholder of record" date. SEO seems to be getting his the loose ends tied up (referencing recent filings) so his shares are ready to vote on?

I'd be a pleased camper Manti if your birdie's song plays out. Addax is going to see more upside than just the JDZ....based on expected significant production from their taq taq interest the second half of 08.

Interesting...

1.) "Addax only wants to buy ERHC (cash and shares) when the investigations are closed/settled."

2.) "[DOJ/SEC] are not going to let loose until all Nigerians are out"

3.) "why [SEO] does not force the others to leave and get done with it."

It seems having Nigerian participation is a "Poison Pill" preventing a deal for the time being. Whoever is behind the scenes with ultimate control truly is in the catbird seat.

Good. We are our own biggest enemy and our greed would make a lowball offer (say $2 for grins) a difficult decision. Whoever is in control is making sure we don't see any such offer until drilling, IMO.

Something is bugging me...

"A birdie told me I could share this last October, but I've just refrained from doing so".

With share prices bouncing off 5 year lows the whole time, what was your motivation in withholding this info when your "birdie" gave you the green light to share it in October?

It seems a lot of concern could have been avoided through the simple act of sharing.

They want the Nigerians out, lmao.....

Last time I checked the Nigerians own the oil!....60% of it anyway, and 40% to the STP'er, Africans as well. The oil belongs to Africa.

How pompous!...I just don't buy it,sorry!

I'd like to by Cleveland, but the American, must go first!

Thanks for the post Manti.
What is your opinion on the following:
1. Do you think the Nigerian influence will be completely resolved with new Board appointments, etc. at the shareholder meeting on April 22?
2. Would moving EREH to a foriengn (?AIM) make the company easier for Addax to acquire?

Thanks again... keep us posted on the latest bird talk.

Hoping for Christmas 2008
