I dunno about the summer being a drag. AMD and OEMs have lots of product news due out in the summer timeframe:

- 90nm output
- Solaris support
- Sun/HP 4P products (Q2)
- Socket 939 launch (technically, end of May is before summer, but...)
- SSE3 support likely to appear
- OctigaBay early-adopter systems (H2)
- RedStorm
- First products from Andy's group at Sun? (probably late summer, early fall)

And many others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Oh, and probably: Nocona arrives with a thud, hot and not a great performer.
