I suppose being mankind's first of anything deserves some kind of recognition. But I didn't expect a major media company like CRN would be so naive about the lack of end-user benefit, and give out the award in spite of all the problems that they themselves have listed. It seems to indicate a general bias against Intel. I don't believe that they were ignorant of Penryn's existence when they judged the contestants.
