Actually if you read Hersh's article, he says that there was a dispute in the intelligence community between the C.I.A. and D.I.A. Guess you didn't know that because you 1) didn't read his article and 2) he didn't mention it on CNN.

So, to correct you again, I do believe that the NIE report was just finalized and Bush propably was briefed on it after his Oct. 20th (or whenever it was) speech. No one said yesterday other than you. So either you or your blog are lying.

So what was the WH attempting to do in your opinion? Were they going to take military action against Iran? Then why didn't they? Why didn't they make the NIE story disappear too?
