this is only the 4th touch of the 63 day since the bull started.
we must have a low next week, that leads to a rally or we have diverged from every bull market i can find. I literally mean that i can find no bull run that made a move even close from the lows to the jan high, that dropped like we did that didn't lead to a higher high within a few months. We are either doing something new, or that wasn't the high. we got very close to satisfying past patterns because we almost broke through Thursday am, and we also did indeed get new highs on the dow, and we also had the dow outperform the nas into the post Valentine period.

I certainly won't trade with the idea that something new will happen. My wag is that we will make a low in the early part of next week and then at least rally to 2120. If its something new, so be it, I am in a bunch of very cheap stocks, which is not as good as cash, but i have a 2 year horizon

There is an optical conference early next week. Maybe they wanted to publish before that? Only a guess.
