Knowing it is one thing, but applying it is quite another.

Here's a few i've got so far:

-- Falling in love with a story.
-- Confusing the company with its stock.
-- Relying on gurus.
-- Believing what you're told by investor relations.
-- Throwing good money after bad by averaging down. (Except in rare instances, or as part of a strategy of gradual accumulation)
-- Letting the tax tail wag the stock dog.
