Did you read me wrong? I wrote the "We really care about these people" in jest. Ironic jest, but it really should have been clear what the point was. You took off on McConnel for printing his poster of U.S. soldiers dying, and when I pointed out the use of the tactic by both sides all you can muster is a smarky comment.
If Bush was a democrat you'd be all over him for failure to form international coalitions, his miserable execution of the war, the lack of plan to get the hell out of there, the deficits, his own "war record", and tons of other things.
In three short years the U.S. has gone from having incredible world sympathy to being seen as an arrogant swashbuckling bully. Opportunity squandered. Have you travelled much or lived in other cultures?
