Jag, that is from the London Stock Exchange... as you correctly pointed out. Big difference. In the USA the form type for "T" is considerably different. Even by their definition the trade is reported once the transaction is complete... to have them always complete after hours or the handful we have seen just prior to the close doesn't make sense. Plus, the ones we see are at prices often times below the lowest bid... another inconsistency.

In the USA, a Form T trade is nothing more than a trade occurring outside normal trading hours.

If this is/was happening on one other board you know of then I would still qualify what we see as "mysterious"... but you still don't. Odd.

It took me only about 5 minutes to do a single simple Google search (see below) to find information about Form T trades relating to the USA markets. I'm surprised you couldn't find this information as well? How long did it take you to find the information you posted that more met your agenda... even if for London? ;)

What is a .T transaction?
Members use .T as a trade modifier when reporting transactions to ACT outside of normal market hours. Specifically, the .T modifier is only used for pre-open and after hours trades (those executed and reported between 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).

The problem with that theory is the amount that has happened.

From someone's post the other day in one week it was 600k+ shares. It has been happening for months so the number of AH trades should tally way too much of the float to be someone dumping. And since Knight says the float hasn't changed, is it really restricted shares?

Every theory has parts that seem to make sense but nothing covers every angle. So we still wonder what it is.
