Even for you, this is particulalry dimwitted.

So, you chastise me for choosing to disregard those 2 words for part of the argument and then you go ahead and fill in your interpretation of what you think he meant to have said.

Hint: being a president is a very demanding and you have to try and be clear in your choice of words or else parrots like the Pegbot will pick out a few and echo them for years.

Please provide a link to all the bombing of "Iraqi neighborhoods" There was actually very little bombing in that 10 year period.
What did occur was of radar and other military installations that were tracking our planes and locking on them with radar.
Again, it wasn't "Washington's reasons- it was a UN mandate and the bombs weren't cropped in neighborhoods. More ignorance.

All you need to do is check the vote on the sanctioning resolution.
Here's a clue- Iraq's neighbors were justifiably fearsome of Saddamms intentions in the area.

Why??? Might have something to do with Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, don't ya think? Do you think Saudi Arabia wanted a strong Iraq?? You think Iran wanted a strong Iraq?, Turkey
The vote was unanimous in the security, I can't find a tally of the full vote, but think about it logically, why would his neighbors want him to maintain his strength after he invaded Kuwait??

Thanks Seabass ... you explained this so well for me .. I appreciate it .. ...

>>>The bombing of Iraq was simply due to violation of the no fly zone that was mandated by the UN<<<

You think arabs on the ground are more understanding if they're given Washington's reason for american bombs dropping on their neighborhood?

>>>THE whole world- including Iraq'a Arab neighbors agreed to the UN sanctions.<<<

Which arab neighbors would that be? Links please.
