Now, pick anytime you want and tell me how three people can tie. You can't because it is impossible.

However, pick any single time exactly between any two of the people and any two of them can tie. For example 10:32:30 is a tie between Bush and Cheney.

A tie between more than two is impossible. A tie between two is very unlikely - 1 chance out of 300 if every 5 minute increment were used.... but still possible.

It cannot happen for 3 because each person can only have ONE of the five minute slots. Theoretically, as you and Len have stated we can assume...

Len has 12:10:00 AM and Aussie has 12:15:00 AM.

IF Post #20,000,000 happens at PRECISELY 12:12:30 AM, BOTH Len and Aussie TIE and would SPLIT the prize.

But, according to the rules, there could never be a 3 way tie, because once a WAGGER picks a five minute time slot, no other WAGGER can have the same time slot.
