Buck - That ain't fishing line, that's well rope! LOL
I thought I'd venture on over here and see what's cookin'. I have done very little salt water fishing, and now that I am back in Missouri, I probably will be doing even less from here on ... but I enjoy the pic's. I went out on the Chesapeake Bay (striper fishing) a few times while in Virginia, out a couple of times on the Med (anything fishing) while in Algiers and got out on the Atlantic off the West Coast of Africa/Congo a couple of times (tarpon fishing). We were always using light tackle though, line of 30 lb, or more usually 20 lb., with 7 foot medium/heavy action rods. Got a 42 lb Striper in the Chesapeake, and shared a tarpon of just over 100 lbs with a boat-mate off African coast. Other than that, just a bit of porgy fishing off Long Island, and that is the extent of my 'salty' experiences.
Like I say, I enjoy the pics, and a good fish story is a good fish story, no matter the flavor of the water.
thanks. I'll drop in occasionally.
