At least the discussion is starting better- regarding Intel making PC's--lol
Compare the income statements- I think this might be what the market is looking at. And TI only commands about 30% of the cell phones, they make money at it too. Their getting great recognition on HDTV, DLP is the top performer.
Here are the Income statements (from Yahoo) Intel
Revenue (ttm): 35.38B Revenue Per Share (ttm): 6.104 Qtrly Revenue Growth (yoy): -5.00% Gross Profit (ttm): 18.22B EBITDA (ttm): 12.49B Net Income Avl to Common (ttm): 5.04B Diluted EPS (ttm): 0.86 Qtrly Earnings Growth (yoy): -38.80%
TXN Revenue (ttm): 14.26B Revenue Per Share (ttm): 9.329 Qtrly Revenue Growth (yoy): 4.20% Gross Profit (ttm): 7.26B EBITDA (ttm): 4.92B Net Income Avl to Common (ttm): 2.64B Diluted EPS (ttm): 2.78 Qtrly Earnings Growth (yoy): 2.00%
Both revenue and earning are slipping at Intel vs TXN. IMO Intel has a ways to go before its investment grade.
