Some people posting here like to continually bash the space shot and the referral to space hardware. I think the space shot was fantastic publicity and the only thing that would be irresponsible would be if management did not play it up. And having a Russian cosmonaut striking the ball is a ton better than having an American do it (I doubt that we would have granted the contract anyway) because the rest of the world is more likely to take notice and remember and marvel over the years to come. And in the US, I doubt that Americans would put too much of a different spin either way (US or Russian). But, just my little opinion.
