I think what was missed here is that when you go to the court mat as a David against a Goliath you really have the odds stacked against you.
A company with a 35.15 Billion M-Cap can simply win a legal battle of financial attrition.
They can drag a case on forever with minor relative legal expenses while your legal team starts getting antsy.
To the plus side most significantly the company had something coveted by the likes of a 35 Bill MkCap company making the future not so dismal and there will be more where that came from. Also, there is always more to every story. Maybe there was additonal non cash compensation that was gagged.
MM's tipped their hand with the wall at .30.
They were dealing air there and yes will no doubt shake this hard Monday. Past experience shows that lining up with a tin cup in your hand at the opening bell is a fools mission.
Let it shake ..it will bottom at a supprt level and rebound.

I am just wondering, this is not an opinion.

As we were saying before, the 8k has to reveal the terms of the settlement... The reason I ask is if you read this part..

ABB agreed to make a settlement payment to RWT in the amount of $2,925,000 no later than March 2, 2007

could that be interpreted a payment by a certain date in order to end this dispute and that it's not the entire payment due? My guess is not because they would have been disclosed in the 8k if in fact the settlement in its entirity had to be disclosed..just wondering.
